Experience the night in nature at one of the campsites in Dane County Parks. Opportunities include individual campsites that can be reserved for tents, campers, and RVs and group campsites that can be reserved by larger groups of campers for tent camping. Reservations are required. Individual campsite reservations include a complimentary daily dog permit good for the duration of your stay.

Mendota County Park
Dane County offers campsites at five different parks. Each campground offers an accessible site and electric sites. Campsite check-in time is 3:00 p.m. / check-out time is no later than 2:00 p.m.
Campgrounds / Campground Maps
There is a maximum of six individuals and two camping units (two tents or one RV and one tent) allowed per campsite.
Tents at a Group Campsite
Group campsites are larger, rustic (vault/pit toilets and water) areas where a larger group of campers may camp together. Group campsites are popular with youth groups and family/friend events and intended for tent camping only. Campsite check-in time is 3:00 p.m. / check-out time is no later than 2:00 p.m.
Group Campgrounds
There is no minimum stay requirement but there is a maximum stay of 14 days.
