Indian Lake County Park & Halfway Prairie Wildlife Area Master Plan

Dane County Parks has completed a Master Plan for Indian Lake County Park and Halfway Prairie Wildlife Area located in the northwestern part of Dane County, Wisconsin. The planning process included an inventory of significant cultural, historical, and natural features, five public information meetings, and an online input survey to determine future land management and park development recommendations that were arrived at through a consensus building process.

The Dane County Park Commission recommended approval of the draft plan on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at their regularly scheduled meeting. The Dane County Board adopted the Master Plan on February 15, 2024.
