Lower Mud Lake Work Days

Join the Friends of Lower Mud Lake for a spring work day at Lower Mud Lake! They are working on invasive brush removal and as the season progresses invasive weed removal.

Sawyers and Haulers both needed to remove invasive species. Sawyers must be certified and registered with Dane County Parks and should bring their own safety equipment.  Fuel and bar oil provided.  Equipment is provided for haulers, no prior experience is needed.  Haulers assist the sawyers by removing downed brush and limbs and stacking them in brush piles for later burning.
